Booth Credits for Shows that were Canceled Due to COVID

Suffering socks on a hot tin roof in a room full of rocking chairs, was 2020 a challenging year for all of us? That was a rhetorical question, no need to answer.

Due to the global pandemic many Oddmall shows had to canceled last year and earlier this year. As a result, a lot of vendors who already nabbed booths for those shows are probably left wondering what will become of their precious booth reservations. Fret not, oh wonderful vendors of Oddmall. We haven’t forgotten about you.

Here’s what what with what’s happening: Every vendor who purchased a booth for a show that was canceled due to the pandemic has a credit for that booth that can be used at the Oddmall show of their choice, either in 2021 or 2022.

Here are few rules we’ll need to follow in order to keep this from becoming an overly-complicated clustergoose:

  • Booth credits will automatically transfer to the show for which they were purchased if that show happens in 2021 or 2022 unless the vendor uses the registration form to select a different show before that show happens.
  • If you have a credit for a show and that show does happen in 2021 or 2022 and you do not use your credit, either on that same show or a different one, by the time that show goes down your credit will be forfeited.
  • Indoor booth credits can be spent for booths at indoor shows or outdoor shows, while outdoor credits must be used for outdoor shows.
  • We will keep track of the credits but we encourage you to do so as well. If you feel you are owed a credit and it is not in our records please let us know and we’ll figure it out together. COVID caused a lot of recombobulating of things around here and we’re (by we, I mean Andy) disorganized as a character trait at the best of times.
